We've all been in situations where there's an elephant in the room in personal relationships. It's that awkward feeling when something significant is being ignored, and it's affecting everything. We may choose to ignore it for many reasons, but as long as it remains unaddressed, it prevents us from being fully connected with the other person. Relationships are built on mutual trust and surrender, and the same can be said for our relationship with God. We can only experience true intimacy when we allow God full access to our lives.
